- Since I was a little girl I’ve had an affinity for “making things”. Never store bought, my gifts to friends and families were made with my hands. When taking Home Economics in the sixth grade I didn’t want the hour of sewing to end. I asked for a sewing machine that Christmas and my passion took off. Two decades later my daughter Piper was born. Sharing the excitement with my closest friends gave me an idea. I started designing and sewing baby items and giving them as gifts. That’s when Pippy’s Stitches was created. My daughter Pippy has been my inspiration. Her colorful personality has leaked into my passion of sewing and her generous disposition makes giving all the more better. As an extra touch to a new baby’s arrival or a 3rd birthday present, personalizing a gift means you took the time to think about that person. As you glance through my portfolio you will see I strive to create more than a burp cloth or towel. I want to make something colorfully unique for a little one that will never be forgotten. Your options are endless.
